Personal:

I'm married to a really great guy named Mike.  He runs, too, and it's fun to share that hobby.  I can keep up with him most of the time, but not always.  We have three kids, 2 boys and a girl.  I watch many, many baseball games each year because both my boys play.  And then I throw in a few dance competitions, because that's what my daughter does.

I could not drag myself out of bed early this morning, so I utilized the hour between when Devan leaves for the bus and when Megan has to leave to get a quick run in.  I didn't wear a watch to keep pace, but I tried to keep it comfortable.  Nice crisp weather. Cool, but not too cold.  Hope it will last!

Today was our first day of meeting early for the extra miles.  (I always want to say that like they say "extra meat" at Cafe Rio - "EX-tra miles").  Myself, Julie, Michelle N, Cheris, Nancy and Lisa ran about 2.88 starting at 5:15 (well, I guess it was really closer to 5:18).  Then we met everyone else at 5:45 for the "regular" workout.  Cheryl's plan was to try to regroup every 5 minutes or so so we didn't get too spread out and so we had a chance to run with different people.  However, regrouping always works better in theory than in practice.  But we did try, and I got to run with Wade, Cheryl, Michelle, Cheris, Scott, Debbie, and Kris at different times.  I really enjoy talking to everyone.

Everything felt great, except for my shoes.  I think I'm not going to buy another pair of Skylons.  They're a bit too narrow for my feet.

I thought it was a little chilli this morning. Mike and I got up early and ran 6 miles together up Heather Downs/90th South, around 2700 and home.  He says his injuries are feeling better.  Then I went to the gym and did about 35 minutes of weights.
